WHAT DOES CREATING AN IMPLEMENTATION PLAN INCLUDE?

Creating an implementation plan following the assessment report can be custom tailored to your needs and goals.

  • I will develop a plan for the board/volunteers/staff/contractors to do the work identified in the planning assessment report and/or the hiking assessment report.

    • The plan will include:​

      • Priority identification to address the most pressing issues first.​

      • Benchmark development to gauge progress on the implementation.

      • Regular check-ins to reevaluate goals and keep the work on track.

      • Evaluation suggestions to gauge the success of the implemented work.

      • Strategies for communicating the organization's commitment to improving their resources and systems for the betterment of their trail community.

  • I will do the work or find the right professionals to do the work as identified in the planning assessment report and/or the hiking assessment report.

    • In addition to the planning elements described above, if I or my team does the work as identified in the report, we will schedule regular progress report meetings to update you on our implementation.​

    • We will share updated materials, communications, and plans on a timely basis.

    • We will create a realistic timeline for completing items included in the assessment report.
